Easter Morning Service

Though Easter is always a special time, it was particularly joyful this year considering that the congregation had been unable to gather in person for Easter last year. It was simply wonderful to be with the family of God and celebrate the victory Christ won through His death and resurrection!

Prelude: A young string quartet played “Were You There?” and “At the Cross.”

Scripture Readings: Tom Pricskett read Matthew 27:27-31, Luke 23:34-43, and Matthew 27: 46-54.

Specials: A young ladies’ ensemble sang “You Are My King (Amazing Love),” a young men’s ensemble sang “Written in Red,” and Marcus Luka sang “Via Dolorosa.”

Sermon: Dave Lambert preached from John 19:16-22, speaking of the price Jesus paid on the Cross for the sins of all mankind.
