Friday Evening Service

Prelude: A Serenaders' group (pictured above) played “Jesus Loves Me” and “In the Sweet By and By.” The choir followed by singing “Be Exalted, O God.”

Featured Testimonies: Janelle Parker was thankful that God healed her of carpal tunnel syndrome after putting in a simple prayer request. Rachel Parker is grateful God showed her one Sunday morning that she wasn’t ready for the Rapture, and she repented of her sins and God saved her. Dawn Boyce testified that someone told her how Jesus died on the Cross and that day she repented, asking God to be Lord of her life. Joshua Idowa shared how the Lord provided for his education in a miraculous way and how he has proven Psalm 37:25 to be true. Boniface Osunkwo was thankful a friend invited him to church, where his heart was touched by the song “Rock of Ages.” Back in his room, God saved his soul.

First Special: A Parker-McCarville ensemble, accompanied by the Serenaders, sang “Mansion Over the Hilltop.”

Last Special: Yolanda Johnson sang “The Windows of Heaven Are Open.”

Sermon: Tim DeBusk, pastor in Medford, Oregon, preached from John 6:22-27, which tells how many people searched for Jesus after He miraculously fed five thousand people. Brother Tim said only Jesus can satisfy the soul’s desire.
