Friday Evening Service

Prelude: David Green played a trumpet solo of “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Lord, Listen to Your Children Praying.”

Featured Testimonies: Dayle Lee said even though he and his family knew very little about the Gospel, when he was nineteen the Lord led him to an experience of real salvation. Kristi Riler praised God that at six years of age she believed God was what she needed and He saved her, and has kept her since that time through good and bad times. Rob Parker told how the Lord saved and sanctified him when he was fifteen years old and how he appreciates the Gospel. Ade Asaya thanked God for her Christian experiences and also for helping her get an erroneous charge removed from her account. Nolan Roby shared how he received a know-so experience of salvation many years ago and still feels that wonderful peace in his heart.

First Special: The choir sang “Whosoever Will May Come.”

Last Special: Ellen and Ashley Morgan sang “Let Me Touch Him.”

Sermon: Samuel Asaya preached from Luke 10:38-42, using Mary as an example of choosing the good part when she seized the opportunity to sit at Jesus’ feet and listen to Him.
