Friday Evening Service
Prelude: Carter Luka played “How Majestic Is Your Name” on the bassoon.
Scripture Reading: Dave Lambert read Psalm 93:1-5.
Testimony: Maya Nedelcu gave a shout to the Lord for saving her and later sanctifying her during a time of home devotions. A few years later the Lord baptized her with the Holy Ghost and she is glad for His comfort during these challenging days.
Special: A ladies’ group sang “Great Is the Lord.”
Testimony:Mackenzie Ewers shared that she was saved at seven years old and was later sanctified. Around age sixteen, she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. She gave thanks to the Lord especially for helping her through a difficult class during her first year of college.
Special: Gary Wolfe sang “I Know a Name.”
Sermon: Dwight Baltzell’s text was Mark 4:35-41, where Jesus stilled the tempest. Brother Dwight said while Jesus was in the boat with the disciples, no harm would come to them. He stated that everyone needs Jesus in his or her boat of life, and He is just a prayer away.
Special: Rebecca Luka sang the closing song, “Jesus, Draw Me Close.”
