Friday Evening service

Prelude: Annika Ewers played “In Christ Alone” and “Lord I Lift Your Name on High,” on the violin.

Featured Testimonies: Kaye Montgomery (pictured above) shared how she was saved in 1974, and God has answered many prayers over the years since then. Dixie Bowlsby said she has had several physical challenges over the past year, but she is thankful the Lord has been with her. Larry Montgomery appreciated that the Lord has been with him and his wife in their recent move to Portland. Chet King gave thanks for the unity among God’s people. Loredana Miller was grateful that God protected her sister’s family, helping them all get out safely when their house burned last week. Caleb Copko spoke of the change God made when He came into his heart.

First Special: The choir sang “Jesus Did It for Me.”

Last Special: Jennifer Worthington sang “Born Again.”

Sermon: Ryan Erdmann preached from Philippians 3:14, comparing the Christian race to physical sports, and admonished everyone to persevere to the finish line – Heaven.
