Friday Evening Service
Prelude: Andrea Gaston played “It Is Well” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” on her cello.
Testimony: Kaity Bishop shared that she was saved on the campground, and was sanctified at an international youth conference in New York a couple of years ago. The Lord has been good to her and her husband, and guided each step of their home purchase and job situations.
First Special: Sam Cantrell and Troy Ross sang “He’s Still Workin’ on Me.”
Testimony: Jeff Bishop thanked God for the privilege to be in church, and for his Christian heritage. He was saved at a youth camp several years ago, and later sanctified at the Portland youth camp. He’s thankful that the Gospel is simple to understand. God has worked in his life, including leading in his job situation, and he wants to be faithful until the end.
Last Special: Holly Lambert (pictured above) sang “Road to Zion.”
Sermon: Roth Mom used Psalm 34:8 for his text and asked, “Do you know that you are blessed?” He explained that Christians have God on their side, helping them with the “giants” they face in everyday life, and encouraged everyone to look to God and count their blessings, knowing He will be with them.
