Friday Evening Service

Prelude: Katia Fedosov played two songs on the cello, accompanied by Sungun Yune on the piano: “God Will Make a Way” and “Sonata in E Minor.” Then Victoria Heintz and Emmaline Worthington sang “How Great Thou Art” a cappella.

Featured testimonies: Betty Lee testified that she was invited to Sunday school as a child, and when she was nineteen, she prayed and was saved. Josh Friesen said recently God answered prayer for him when he lost an important study binder; he prayed and found it in the next place he looked. Faye Veenhuizen was thankful for her Christian upbringing and wants to take any chance she has to share the Gospel with others. Hunter Cripps thanked the Lord for helping with everyday challenges and decisions, like finding lost sunglasses and making a large purchase.

First Special: The choir sang “We are More than Conquerors.”

Last Special: Rich Barrett (pictured above) sang “He Walked that Lonesome Road.”

Sermon: Clark Wolfe took his text from Mark 4:35-37, and told his listeners that if they are ever in a tight spot, they will want to be able to pray and know that God will hear and answer their prayer, so they need to stay close to Jesus.
