Friday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: The orchestra played “Count Your Blessings,” followed by the choir singing “Days of Elijah.”

Featured Testimonies: Jessica Oilar was so thankful that God saved her while she was young, sparing her from the pitfalls of sin. Riley Friesen gave thanks that God has kept him through a year of unexpected changes, and is faithful to meet him in prayer. Shelby Warberg shared how God saved her at age nine, after she learned in children's church that she could make the choice where she would spend eternity. Hunter McCarville appreciated God’s help in finding a job after a lengthy search. Tyler Green is thankful to be saved and sanctified. Elizabeth Buliga gave thanks for a recent opportunity to share what God has done for her with another student. Julianne Luka told how at Medford Special meetings she received spiritual strength to overcome her stress.

First Special: A mixed ensemble (pictured above) sang “Happiness.”

Last Special: Maya Nedelcu sang “Christ Is Enough.”

Ryan Erdmann read from Matthew 5:13-16, where Jesus told His followers they would be spiritual salt and light to others. Brother Ryan said that to be salt and light, a person must first be born again.
