Friday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: Andrea Gaston and Maya Nedelcu played a guitar duet of "Jesus Paid it All," “I Surrender All,” and "Make Me a Servant." Then the youth orchestra played “Victory in Jesus.” The choir concluded the prelude with “You Are God.”

Featured Testimonies: Patrick Lee said that although he was raised in a Christian family, he came to the age where he chose for himself to come to church, and he is thankful he lives close by and is able to come to every meeting. Josh Friesen shared that he had prayed recently, asking God what he can do to get closer to Him, and right afterward he heard a song that really spoke to his heart. Maya Nedelcu told how the Lord helped her to prepare her heart to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit last camp meeting. Hunter McCarville was thankful God gave him peace when he started feeling anxious about decisions he needed to make regarding his future. Marcus Luka (pictured above) told of a video that was played at school that spoke of evolution, and how it just didn’t make sense to him. He wished he could share with his class the apologetics book that his family was reading about the truth of the Bible, but then God showed him that they can see it through his life.

First Special: Shelby Warberg and Savannah Lee sang “Step into the Water.”

Last Special: Moriah Copko sang “Lamb of God.”

Sermon: Tony Boyce preached from Galatians 2:20, explaining that when people come to Christ and ask forgiveness of their sins, they are crucified with Him and they become new creatures in Christ Jesus.
