Friday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: The orchestra played, “Since Jesus Came Into My Heart” and “Jesus Saves.” The choir then sang “Thanks,” with Caleb Copko as soloist.

Featured Testimonies: Mackenzie Ewers was thankful for God’s protection recently when she was driving and two large trucks came into her lane, but God helped her to get out of the way and avoid a collision. Josh Friesen told how he was nearly finished writing his final when his computer glitched and it seemed he had lost nearly everything but when he prayed about it, the document reappeared just in time. Jeremy Heintz shared that this past year has been very eventful, and last week he felt overwhelmed, feeling like everything hit him at once, but he is thankful for God’s unspeakable peace that resulted when he gave it all to Him. Austin McCarville said he worked hard during finals, studying many hours a day, but still made time to do his devotions and when he felt stressed God gave him peace and brought him through it all.

First Special: Emmaline and Mikayla Worthington sang, “You Are Amazing God.”

Last Special: Azaria Charles sang “There Is a Redeemer.”

Sermon: Ryan Erdmann (pictured above) preached from John 9:1-7, stressing the importance of not only being in the right place for God to answer prayer, but also putting faith into action, calling out to Him for help, and when someone does this, He will always come through.
