Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Kristi Riler played “Jesus, Name Above All Names” on the piano. The choir followed with “We Cry Hosanna, Lord.”

Featured Testimonies: Gary Wolfe told how he has faced a lot of challenges with aging parents and sick siblings in the past year, but he is thankful the Lord shows Himself strong all the time. Shade Ajayi explained that she had been having trouble with her knee and could not take a step without pain, but she rejoiced that God has healed her. Trina Ruiz shared how the Lord’s presence was with her after getting prayed for when she was sick, which gave her peace and comfort. Natalie Tonning was thankful she has been able to see God working in the lives of her unsaved parents, and is encouraged to know He is talking to their hearts.

First Special: A men’s quartet sang “The Boneyard.”

Last Special: Imelda Nedelcu sang “Above All.”

Sermon: Clark Wolfe began his message with Genesis 2:8, warning against the dangers of dabbling in sin because it corrupts, destroys, and separates from God, and reminding the congregation that God can empower a person to live a life without sinning.
