Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: The brass played “Lu Lay Thou Little Tiny Child” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful.” The choir then sang “Glad Tidings.”
Featured Testimonies: Julia Rael thanked God for saving her last October, and said that this year at camp meeting, He sanctified her. Natalie Rael told how she was saved one year ago, and said that God’s forgiveness is the greatest gift she ever received. Shawn Worthington shared that one time at work someone said Christmas is about silly songs, but he is thankful that Christmas is much more than that to him.
First Special: A Rael/Lambert young ladies’ quartet (pictured above) sang “Jesus, What a Wonderful Child.”
Last Special: Roxie Rael sang “Welcome to Our World.”
Sermon: Steve Mixer preached from John 1:14-18, rehearsing how God became flesh and came down to dwell among men, and then died on Calvary so that all could be born again.
