Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: Dan Hall and Jon Cantrell played a French horn duet of “O Worship the King” and “When We All Get to Heaven.” The choir sang “Just a Little While.”
Special Song: Imelda Nedelcu sang “A Living Prayer.”
Baby Dedication: Steve Mixer read Mark 10:13-16 and spoke of Jesus’ love for children, and how He could see their true potential. After a special song, Justin and Erin Green brought their baby, Evora Ester, up front and Brother Steve led everyone in a prayer of dedication.
Testimonies: Erin Green (pictured above) expressed thankfulness that she was saved while young and is praying that her daughter Evora will be also. Justin Green said it is so good to serve the Lord who daily loads us with benefits. Dave Green gave thanks for his godly heritage, explaining that his grandfather came into this Gospel many years ago and now he is witness to his grandchildren being raised in this same way.
Last Special: A men’s quartet sang “Come Home.”
Sermon: Using John 4:1-8 for his text, Clark Wolfe recounted the story of the Samaritan woman at the well, to whom Jesus offered Living Water and whose life He changed. Today, when people have an encounter with Jesus, it will change them too.
