Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: Josh Friesen played “The Cross Suite” and “Crown Him with Many Crowns” on the trumpet.
Scripture Reading: Dave Lambert read Psalm 4:1-8.
Special: A Worthington/Moberg quartet sang “Just Over in the Gloryland.”
Testimony: Shawn Worthington testified that God saved him at camp meeting when he was five years old, then at thirteen he made a deeper commitment to serve the Lord for the rest of his life. He also shared how his oldest daughter was born nine-and-a-half weeks early, but people prayed and the Lord brought her through, and she is healthy today.
Special: The quartet sang “Only Jesus Can Satisfy Your Soul.”
Testimony: Laura Moberg (pictured above) talked about how different it is for her family watching church and Sunday school from their sofa at home rather than in a pew at church, but she is thankful that Jesus is still the same. He is present everywhere.
Special: Peter Moberg sang “In Times Like These.”
Sermon: Tom Pricskett gave the message from 1 Samuel 3:3-4, using young Samuel and Naaman’s maid as examples of hearing the Word of God and responding.
Special: Jennifer Worthington sang “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.”
