Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: A brass trio of Henry Parker, Marcus Luka, and Josh Friesen played “Come Thou Fount” and “Count Your Blessings.”

Testimony: Janice Calhoun spoke of starting piano lessons at age seven, and how she asked Jesus into her heart when she was ten. He has helped her with her music and through life, as well as in the “bumps” along the way such as times of sickness and when she broke her wrist. She is thankful that He has always been there and is her Anchor.

First Special: Peter and Laura Moberg (pictured above) sang “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow.”

Testimony: Sister Laura said she doesn’t know what tomorrow holds, but she is thankful God has got it. When she was saved at age thirteen, she didn’t know she would someday have twins, or that she would nearly die with the birth of her son, but today they are all together and they all love Jesus. She is thankful Jesus is with her every day.

Last Special: Brother Peter sang “The Haven of Rest.”

Sermon: Taking his message from Hebrews 12:22-24, Steve Mixer stressed the importance of being part of the Church of the redeemed, those whose names are written in Heaven.
