Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: The Serenaders opened the meeting by playing “In the Sweet By and By” and “I’ll Fly Away.” Randy and Cindie Baltzell, and Gary and Kristi Riler (pictured above) then sang “I Feel Like Praising the Lord.”
Featured Testimonies: Deborah Brenner was thankful for the blessing she received during her Sunday school class that morning, and how just learning to pray a simple prayer like “Jesus, help me to be true” encouraged her. Mackenzie Ewers gave thanks that God drew her closer to Him when she followed His guidance. Atticus Martin was thankful he gave his life back to the Lord and for God’s presence in his life. Yvonne Wilson expressed gratitude that recently, during a lengthy period when her husband was out of town, God took away her fear of being alone.
First Special: The choir sang “When Love Shines In.”
Last Special: Gary Wolfe and Butch Carey sang “The Riches of Love in Christ Jesus.”
Sermon: Trent Paulsen preached from Ephesians 2:8-10, which tells that God offers each person His gifts of grace and a measure of faith so that each one can receive His priceless gift of salvation.
