Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: The orchestra played “I’d Rather Have Jesus” and “Shout to the Lord.” Then the choir sang “Right in the Middle.”

Featured Testimonies: Moriah Copko said she is thankful for the family of God and the encouragement she has received since the death of her cousins. Steve Hopper (pictured above) testified that recently he asked God to help him be a better witness to his high school students, and a short time later, he had two separate opportunities to share the Gospel. Edna Musgrave said last month she was able to join in a mission trip to Romania, and though she didn’t speak the language, she recognized the same sweet Spirit of God in their meetings as she feels here at home.

First Special: Caleb and Moriah Copko sang “The Anchor Holds.”

Last Special: Kristi Riler sang “Touch Your People Once Again.”

Sermon: Wayne Butler, visiting from Dallas, Oregon, preached from Revelation 19:6-9, saying that just as a bride makes many preparations in anticipation of her wedding day, Christians must take care in planning to be part of the Bride of Christ, so they can be ready when Jesus returns.
