Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Janice Calhoun and Sungun Yune played two piano/organ numbers: “More Than Wonderful” and “Worship Medley.”

Testimony: Michael McCarville testified that he was saved at Midwest camp between his junior and senior years in college, and as a result his life has been blessed. He is truly thankful—God has blessed him with a Christian wife and four children, and has provided for them despite this difficult time.

Testimony: Hunter McCarville gave thanks to God for salvation, and said God has been with him and given him peace throughout this year.

First Special: Michael and Hunter McCarville (pictured above) sang “Pass Me Not.”

Last Special: Butch Carey sang “Thou Wilt Keep Him in Perfect Peace.”

Sermon: Erik Calhoun’s text was Romans 8:31. Chapter 8 of Romans speaks of the victorious life Christians live once they have been saved through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Brother Erik reminded his listeners that all things work together for good to them who are the called according to His purpose—including the pandemic, quarantine, and a difficult election. God is for us!
