Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: Kristi Riler played “People Need the Lord” and “I Will Sing the Wondrous Story” on the flute.
Testimony: Azaria Charles said she is thankful for how God kept her and helped her grow spiritually during 2020 in spite of challenges, and for how He is helping her move forward in her walk with Him this year as well.
Special: Savannah Lee, Emmaline Worthington, and Azaria Charles sang “How Great Is Our God” with “How Great Thou Art.”
Testimony: Emmaline Worthington said that Brother Dave’s sermon on sanctification that morning reminded her of the Sunday night when she received her sanctification, and how she felt so happy that she wanted to tell everyone around her about it.
Special: Sister Azaria (pictured above) sang “Precious Lord, Take My Hand.”
Sermon: Tom Pricskett read Isaiah 12:1 for his text, and said the six verses in Isaiah 12 encourage believers to: praise God for His salvation; trust God and not be afraid; joyfully draw from the “spiritual wells” of salvation; declare God’s doings; sing unto the Lord; and cry out to the “Holy One of Israel.”
