Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Gary Riler played a saxophone solo of “Fairest Lord Jesus” and “Are You Washed in the Blood?” A Brenner ladies’ quartet then sang “For I’m Persuaded to Believe.”

Featured Testimonies: Nikita Jones told about a recent trial where she longed to feel the Lord’s presence, and through fervent prayer felt the Lord’s touch and learned God was always there, even when she could not feel Him. Christi Larrechea was thankful that youth camp is not only for the young–she appreciated the Lord meeting her there and supplying her spiritual needs too. Cameron Hinkle (pictured above) praised God for protecting his family when someone hit their van during their return trip from Wisconsin.

First Special: The choir sang “I’m Standing on the Solid Rock.”

Last Special: Imelda Nedelcu sang “Heaven for Me.”

Sermon: Tom Pricskett used Hebrews 2:1-3 for his text, stating that God works in the lives of people to bring deliverance and liberty. He also emphasized the need to never neglect one’s salvation, because neglect will result in ruin and decay.
