Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Gary Riler played “Amazing Grace,” “Jesus Loves Me,” and “At Calvary,” on the saxophone. The choir then sang “Trumpet Sound Medley.”

Featured Testimonies: Holly Lambert shared how she recently found out that her future school plans fell through, and she doesn’t even know what her options are at this point, but she is not worried or stressed because the Lord has given her a calm assurance that He will take care of her. Diana Lambert told how the Lord saved her when she was four years old, and for a long time she didn’t realize how incredible that is, but in the last few years He has shown her how much He saved her from. Lisa Butler was thankful that the Lord saved her when she was fourteen, and when she longed for holiness, the Lord sanctified her, and soon after that, baptized her. Emily Asaya thanked God for saving her soul, sanctifying, and baptizing her, and she stated that Jesus is the solution to all her problems.

First Special: Holly and Diana Lambert sang “Grace.”

Last Special: Peter Moberg sang “Come, Ye Disconsolate.”

Sermon: Taking his text from Psalm 37:25, Wayne Butler (pictured above) urged everyone to follow in the paths of the righteous, because God has promised that the righteous will never be forsaken.
