Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: The orchestra played “I’ll Fly Away Medley.” The choir followed by singing “Glorious City of God.”
Featured Testimonies: Susan Baltzell was thankful God saved her and made a wonderful change in her heart, and mentioned how the words of Christian songs are a blessing to her. Dwight Baltzell said in 1966 he was headed in the wrong direction, but God mercifully saved him, and he has proven the Gospel since that time. Shade Ajayi (pictured above) told how she was raised in a Muslim home, but forty-two years ago as she walked into an Apostolic Faith Church, the Spirit of God spoke to her saying, “This is where I want you to be.” Just a few days later God saved her. Rosie Lambert shared how the Lord taught her that it is always best to obey Him immediately, rather than trying to do things our own way.
First Special: Imelda Nedelcu, Michael McCarville, and Alicia Parker sang “Blood-Washed Pilgrim.”
Last Special: Peter Moberg sang “Oh, I Want to Know You More.”
Sermon: Larry Montgomery preached from 1 John 1:7 and said when you are saved, not only do you have fellowship with God, but also with the family of God, because you are a reflection of His light and love.
