Sunday Evening Service
Prelude: The Serenaders played “Rock of Ages,” “Down by the Riverside,” and “Mansion Over the Hilltop.” Then Mikayla and Emmaline Worthington and Victoria Heintz, sang “Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown?”
Testimonies: Azaria Charles (pictured above) testified that her unsaved grandfather went to church that morning for the first time in awhile, and her prayer is that he will give his heart to God. Sumin Wolfe said she is thankful for how God has been with her in thirteen years of marriage, and that she can be a light to her own children, as well as the children at the school where she works. Earl Phillips shared that he was recently reminded of how, shortly after he was saved, he was encouraged to pray that God would heal numerous warts on his hands, and a week later they were all gone.
First special: The choir sang “On That Happy Morning (Medley).”
Last special: Dan Hall sang “If He Hung the Moon,” with the Serenaders accompanying.
Sermon: Clark Wolfe took his text from Luke 18:1-5, and encouraged the congregation to wait on God’s timing and seek for His will in their lives.
