Sunday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: The orchestra played “Mighty Is Our God,” followed by the choir singing “One Thing Remains.”

Testimonies: Sam Asaya testified that recently he was feeling overwhelmed with his homework and responsibilities, but he prayed about it and the Lord gave him strength to get it done. Josh Friesen testified that he received his sanctification last camp meeting, and he is thankful for how God helped him make the necessary consecrations to receive it. Jeremy Heintz said his back has been hurting the past couple weeks, but after praying about it, his back is doing much better. Azaria Charles thanked God for his protection on the road the other day when she was in a tense situation. Rachel Heintz said she was offered a full-time position at her new job that does not require her to work weekends, making it possible for her to go to the upcoming West Coast Youth Challenge.

First special: A young men’s group sang “I Will Rise.”

Last special: Imelda and Maya Nedelcu sang “Refiner’s Fire.”

Sermon: Trent Paulsen read 1 Peter 1:3-5 for his text, and brought out that everything changes once a person becomes aware of the hope of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
