Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: The orchestra played “Holy, Holy, Holy,” and “Rejoice! The Lord Is King.” The choir then sang “Praise Adonai,” with orchestral accompaniment.
First Special: A young ladies’ sextet (pictured above) sang “Here Comes the King.”
Scripture Reading: Dwight Baltzell read Luke 19:29-38.
Last Special: Michael McCarville sang “What a Beautiful Name” with “Agnus Dei.” which also featured an organ solo by Shawn Worthington.
Sermon: Dave Lambert used Luke 19:39-44 for his text, speaking of the spiritual kingdom Jesus came to establish rather than the physical kingdom the Jews had hoped for, and explaining that one must be born again to be a part of Christ's Kingdom.
