Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: A brass group played “I Wonder as I Wander” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.”
Testimony: Gary Bertram (pictured above) said that he grew up going to church, but had no knowledge of the true Gospel. His wife had attended Sunday school at the Apostolic Faith Church in Tacoma, Washington, and after they were married, she prayed through to salvation at home. He saw the change in her life, and one Sunday night he prayed and surrendered his life to God. He knew that salvation was real when he was able to take a stand on the job, and he has found the Gospel to be the greatest thing he has ever experienced.
First Special: Rosie, Diana, and Holly Lambert sang “A Strange Way to Save the World.”
Scripture Reading: Darrel Lee read Matthew 2:1-12.
Special: The Lambert trio sang “Wise Men Still Seek Him.”
Sermon: Dave Lambert read Matthew 2:1-2 for his text, and recapped the Wise Men’s diligence in seeking for the young Jesus. He encouraged his listeners to remain focused on seeking Jesus and giving Him their best.
