Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: Gary Riler played two pieces on his saxophone, “There Is a Balm in Gilead” and “Praise to the Lord.”
Scripture Reading: Darrel Lee read Exodus 15:1-2.
Special: A men’s quartet sang “When I Get Carried Away.”
Testimony: Gary Wolfe (pictured above) thanked the Lord for His touch throughout his life. At age two, after he had gone through five surgeries and was still struggling to survive, the Lord touched and healed him. Later in Gary's teen years, while attending youth camp, the Lord saved him. He expressed thanks for forty-two years of being able to give his talents back to the Lord in service at the headquarters office and church.
Special: Darla, Dan, and Cheyenna Hall sang “Jesus Is Right for Whatever Is Wrong in Your Life.”
Scripture Reading: John Musgrave read 1 Kings 3:5-13.
Special: The men’s quartet sang “Midnight Cry.”
Sermon: David Lambert’s sermon, taken from Proverbs 4:5-7, focused on the importance of having a teachable spirit. He said success is guaranteed to those who will learn Bible teachings such as obedience, humility, and having a submissive spirit.
Final Song: Azaria Charles sang “O Come to the Altar.”
