Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: The orchestra played “You Are My All in All” and “The Name of the Lord.”
Testimony: Caleb Copko (pictured above) recalled the anxiety and worry he felt about the possibility of the Rapture taking place when he was not saved. One night in his parent’s home, he knelt and said a simple prayer, and there God forgave him and changed his life completely. He said with all that is going on in the world today, he now feels an excitement about the Lord’s soon coming.
First Special: Caleb Copko, Gary Riler, and Michael McCarville sang “Just a Closer Walk.”
Scripture Reading: Dave Lambert read from Acts 24:22-25.
Last Special: Diana Lambert sang “For Only One.”
Sermon: Tim Mixer, from Chehalis, Washington, used Luke 18:35-43 for his text, which tells about the blind man who heard that Jesus was passing by, and
took advantage of that opportunity by crying out for healing. Brother Tim pointed out that opportunities are time-sensitive; they are not available
always. Though some people put off giving their hearts to the Lord, thinking they have plenty of time to do it later, it is vital to seize spiritual
opportunities as soon as possible because there is no guarantee of how long they will last.
