Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: The orchestra played “Open Our Eyes, Lord” and “Great Things He Has Done.”
Testimony: Jim Ott (pictured above) said as he gets older, he thinks often about his Gospel roots. He grew up wanting to be saved, and as a teenager, he surrendered his life to God. He contracted glaucoma before the age of forty and was faced with losing his eyesight, but he prayed and gave the situation to the Lord. Forty years later, he still has his eyesight.
Special: Gary and Kristi Riler and Maria Green sang “Jesus Is Still the Answer.”
Scripture Reading: Dave Lambert read John 5:1-5.
Last Special: Randy Kaady sang “O Lord Most Holy.”
Sermon: Darrel Lee read John 5:2 for his text, comparing his listeners to those waiting by the pool of Bethesda, and encouraging them to receive what God has for them like the man at the pool did.
