Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: The string orchestra played “O, Little Town of Bethlehem” and “O Come, All Ye Faithful” including “While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night.”
Testimony: Cameron Hinkle (pictured above) expressed his thankfulness that God saved him when he was eighteen, and since that time has taken care of him. He described how the Lord protected his family when they were in a car wreck a few years ago, and also protected his wife and sister when they experienced some challenges while traveling in Italy.
First Special: Gary Riler, Michael McCarville, and Peter Moberg sang “Go, Tell It on the Mountain.”
Scripture Reading: Dave Lambert read from Luke 1:5-7.
Last Special: A men’s trio sang “Son of God.”
Sermon: Darrel Lee preached from Luke 1:8-10, and referred to the current Daybreak Bible study in Leviticus which gives details of the proper way to approach and worship God. He brought out that our worship of God should be centered on praise rather than begging, and thankfulness rather than only asking.
