Sunday Morning Service
Prelude: The orchestra played “There Is None Like You” and “Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So.” Then the choir sang “Revelation 19.”
First special: Peter Moberg and Ashley Morgan (pictured above) sang “Here I Am, Lord.”
Testimony: Peter Moberg shared how the Lord saved him at the age of five while praying at his parents’ bedside, and that he still carries the verse Isaiah 26:3 in his wallet that his grandmother wrote out for him when he was nine years old. He said he is thankful for the peace God has given him in difficult times, such as when his dad had surgery and later when his wife was in intensive care for some time.
Last special: Christina Larrechea sang “The Power of the Cross.”
Sermon: Darrel Lee read Proverbs 25:25 for his text, and as he recounted his recent trip to Africa with his son and grandson, he brought out that the Good News of the Gospel is available to everyone who is thirsty for God.
