Thursday Evening Service

Prelude: A trombone ensemble played “Abide with Me” and “Redeemed.” Then a ladies’ sextet sang “Stepping on the Clouds.”

Featured testimonies: Trisha Spakousky praised the Lord for healing her daughter who began having seizures several years ago and was diagnosed with a brain abnormality, but two years ago an EEG showed that the brain abnormality was gone. Cyril Agunn said he received distressing news from home on Tuesday, but prayed and by the close of the evening service, God had undertaken. Xavius Robinson thanked God for healing his headaches a few weeks ago and making him able to come to camp meeting. Jill Baros praised God for sparing her life, and healing her a year ago when she had complications during childbirth.

First Special: The choir sang “I Stand Amazed,” accompanied by the brass.

Last Special: Polin Ho (pictured above) sang “His Wonderful Look of Love.”

Sermon: Johnny Wyatt Jr., pastor of the Lafayette church in Brooklyn, New York, read Luke 5:14-16, and stated that no matter how busy life becomes, time must be set aside for communion with God.
