Tuesday Evening Service
Prelude: Samarai Mom played a trumpet solo of “Higher Ground”. Franchesca and Chandler Mom (pictured above) then played a violin duet of “You Lift Me Up,” accompanied by Ty Mom on the piano. Mackenzie Ewers and Emmaline Worthington followed singing “Goodness of God.”
Featured Testimonies: Maria Green shared how the Lord led her step by step to a place of repentance and salvation. Jim Ott spoke of an ongoing challenge he has had with his eyes, and how the Lord has taken good care of him through it all. Josh Friesen was thankful for God’s protection when his brakes went out recently. Amy Patan said that overhearing a young girl asking her mother questions about Christmas reminded her how much she appreciates her Christian upbringing and that she was taught the Gospel truths from childhood.
First Special: The choir sang “Since I Have Been Redeemed.”
Last Special: Kaye Montgomery sang “Then I Met the Master.”
Sermon: Roth Mom read from Galatians 2:20, and explained what it means to be crucified with Christ, leaving the old man behind and living a new life in Christ Jesus.
