Tuesday Evening Service
Prelude: A trombone quartet of Rich Barrett, Sam Cantrell, Curt Cook, and Chris Luka played “All He Wants Is You” and “As a Volunteer.” Then a men’s quartet sang “Sinner, You’ll Miss Heaven.”
Featured Testimonies: Lori McKibben testified that when she gave her heart to the Lord as a teenager, He gave her peace and joy that has lasted through the ups and downs of life. Donovan Ewers testified that he loves the Lord and is thankful for his great family and an awesome church. Stan Monk said although he was raised in the Gospel, he rejected the Lord for many years, but he is thankful for conviction that brought him to salvation and for the change God made in his heart.
Middle Special: The choir sang “When the Roll Medley.”
Last Special: Rosie Lambert (pictured above) sang “The Lighthouse.”
Sermon: David Lambert preached from Proverbs 23:10 on spiritual landmarks, saying they can be an encouraging reminder of what God has done and a reference point for one’s current spiritual standing.
