Tuesday Evening Service
Prelude: Marcus Luka played “Vocalise by Rachmaninoff” and “Spirit of the Living God” on the trombone.
Testimonies: Tim Hammer testified that he realized the importance of seeking for his sanctification when he got saved, and two months later, God gave him a verse that helped him pray through and receive it. Al Smith testified that he was saved at home in 1978, and God sanctified him at church during his first Friday evening service. Deanna Moen shared how the Lord sanctified her at the age of twelve after she made a restitution. Patrick Lee said that he received his sanctification on the last Friday night of camp meeting, and he is thankful for those who stayed and prayed with him.
First Special: The choir sang “Stepping in the Light.”
Last Special: Cynthia Fasola sang “Give Me Jesus.”
Sermon: Clark Wolfe read Matthew 11:28-30 for his text, bringing out that these verses are a promise of comfort and a call to service, and he encouraged the congregation to willingly do their part to work for Jesus.
