Tuesday Evening Service

Prelude: Diana Lambert, Katia Fedosov, and Andrea Gaston played a cello trio. Then a mother/daughter duo, Ade and Sarah Asaya, sang “I Will Stand as a Witness of Christ,” accompanied by Joseph Asaya on the piano.

Featured Testimonies: Xavier Charles (pictured above), visiting from New York, stated that the Lord saved and sanctified him, and he has appreciated the welcome he felt while visiting Portland. Rodica Musgrave shared how, several years after she came to work at the headquarters office, the Lord led her to go back to school and take design classes which she now uses at work. Faye Veenhuizen was thankful that God forgave her sins, gave her joy in her heart, and keeps her every day. Lee Voreis said before he was saved at the age of fifteen, he lied all the time, and was bitter and hateful, but the Lord took those things out of his heart and gave him victory.

First Special: The choir sang “He Included Me.”

Last Special: Julianne, Marcus, and Jillian Luka sang “There Is a Fountain.”

Sermon: Erik Calhoun used Colossians 3:10-11 for his text, and spoke the promise of the Holy Spirit that is available to any who will meet God’s conditions.
