Prelude: Rider Morgan played “Für Elise” on the piano. Victoria Heintz and Lily Oilar then sang “You Are My All in All.”
Featured Testimonies: Harlan Lee was grateful God saved him over forty years ago when he prayed a simple prayer, and echoed the Psalmist in saying that through all his years serving the Lord, he has not seen the righteous forsaken. Larry Buckland said he was saved when very young, and loves God with all his heart; the Gospel means everything to him. Trina Ruiz expressed what a precious experience it was when Lord sanctified her thirty years ago while praying with her grandmother who passed away just a few days later. Tim Hammer (pictured above) was thankful the Lord baptized him with the Holy Spirit on January 18, this year, and since then God has been helping him to focus when he prays. Sandy Cripps shared how the Lord has helped her understand that when reading the Bible it’s not about the quantity you read, but more about reading verses over and over again and getting them into your heart.
First Special: The choir sang “The Blood-Washed Pilgrim.”
Last Special: Katia Fedosov sang “Be Still My Soul” and “You Raise Me Up.”
Sermon: Wayne Butler, from Neah Bay, Washington, preached from Acts 8:26-35, stressing the importance of having a spiritual point of reference, where one can look back to the time he or she was saved.
