Tuesday Evening Service
Prelude: Piano solos from young musicians included Grace Hinkle playing “Con Brio” and “Hungarian Dance”; Shepard Patan playing “10,000 Reasons”; Elliott Voreis playing “Detective Agency”; Ginger Patan playing “When the Saints Go Marching In” and “Holy, Holy, Holy”; Harmony Hinkle playing “Dance of the Irish”; and Ilanya Piper playing “Tijuana Tamborine.”
Testimonies: Kristy Mom said that a recent flight with her children was very turbulent, but as she prayed and counted her blessings, God gave her comfort. Russell Mathews was thankful that he recently received a job transfer closer to his home, and now he is able to be in Tuesday evening church services. Dave Green said that since being saved as a child, his relationship with God has flourished over the years as he received his spiritual experiences and drew closer to God. Earl Phillips testified that after suffering from migraine headaches for years, God touched him, and he has not had one for thirty-one years.
First special: The choir sang “We’re Marching to Zion.”
Last special: Gary Wolfe sang “At the Foot of the Old Rugged Cross.”
Sermon: Tom Pricskett took his text from John 3:16 and encouraged the congregation not to limit God’s love and willingness to work on their behalf.
