Tuesday Evening Service
Prelude: Henry Parker played a trombone solo of “Blessed Assurance.”
Featured Testimonies: Troy Ross testified that he had been having shooting pain in his arm that kept him awake at night and in pain all day, but last Sunday he got prayed for and the Lord healed him. Larry Buckland (pictured above) shared how the Lord has protected him over the years, specifically describing a time when he almost drowned. Ade Asaya thanked the Lord for His encouragement when she was troubled about something recently, and He asked her, “Have I failed you yet?” and she had to answer no.
First Special: The choir sang “Surely Goodness and Mercy.”
Last Special: Troy Ross sang “There’s Room at the Cross.”
Sermon: Tom Pricskett gave instructions from Hebrews 4:7 on how to listen when God speaks, which included paying attention, mixing the message with faith, tuning out surrounding distractions, and responding quickly.
