Tuesday Evening Service

Prelude: Annika Ewers performed two songs on the violin: “I Will Serve Thee” and “Rejoice, the Lord Is King.” Ade Asaya then sang “His Eye Is On the Sparrow.”

Testimonies: John Patan shared that a little over eight years ago, he was under conviction. When he acknowledged his spiritual need, the Lord saved him as he prayed in his car, and then eight days later, the Lord sanctified him. Chet King said he is glad that many years ago the Lord saved, sanctified, and filled him with the Holy Spirit, and he is rejoicing that he still has victory. Amy Patan testified of the difference in her home after both she and John were saved. Recently she met an old neighbor at Costco who had observed their lives. The woman said she wanted the happiness they have, and asked Amy to pray with her right there! Seth Martin told how the Lord gave him understanding during youth camp of what to do to be saved, and the Lord wonderfully saved him.

First Special: The choir sang “Constantly Abiding.”

Last Special: Azaria Charles (pictured above) sang “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.”

Sermon: Roth Mom read James 1:12 and 4:7 and admonished everyone to walk in an overcoming faith by submitting to the will of God and resisting the devil.
