Tuesday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: Annika Ewers played a violin solo of “Wonderful Peace” and “Rejoice, the Lord Is King.” Then the young people’s choir sang, “Are You Ready for the Wedding?”

Featured Testimonies: Holly Lambert testified that she has many decisions to make in the near future, and sometimes they seem overwhelming. However, she knows she can seek God and He will guide her. Hunter Cripps said God watches over him on the job site, and recently kept a falling two-by-four from causing an injury. Samuel Asaya thanked God for helping him adjust to new surroundings after moving to Portland, and for helping him at school. Yuvi Sierra Chavez said he is thankful for salvation, and that God has provided a good job and place to live.

First Special: Julianne Luka and Emmaline Worthington sang a duet of “Only Jesus.”

Last Special: Shelby Cripps (pictured above) sang “He Will Carry You.”

Clark Wolfe read his text from Matthew 5:6 and said those who hunger and thirst after the things of this world will be left feeling empty, while those who seek the things of God will be satisfied.
