Tuesday Evening Youth Service

Prelude: Julianne Luka played “Let There Be Praise” and “We Bow Down” on the viola. The choir then sang “Open Up the Heavens.”

Featured Testimonies: Julianne Luka testified that God helped her defend her stand at school when she was the only “no” vote in her class on a certain statement. Maya Nedelcu said she is thankful for God’s protection and that she has a testimony that she is saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Katia Fedosov testified that her throat was bothering her while practicing for the young ladies’ special, but she prayed and God helped her. Clark Wolfe testified that he used a hammer the other day that belonged to his grandfather, and it was a reminder of his heritage in the Gospel from his grandparents on both sides. Elizabeth Buliga said that God saved her two years ago, and at youth camp this year she received her sanctification and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Sam Cantrell said he is thankful for the job God gave him after graduating from college, and for how God has helped him during the time he has been there. Emmaline Worthington said she has drawn closer to the Lord this year, and she is thankful for Christian friends who encourage her.

First Special: A young ladies’ group sang “Days of Elijah.”

Last Special: The choir sang “I Need Thee Every Hour,” with Marcus Luka as the soloist.

Sermon: Erik Calhoun took his text from Titus 2:11-12. He encouraged the congregation to live in the present, and to shine the light of the Gospel to others.
