Wednesday Evening Service

Prelude: Janice Calhoun and Rosie Lambert played a piano duet of “Amazing Love,” “Lord, I Lift your Name on High,” and “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name.” Then the choir sang “Victory in Jesus.”

Featured testimonies: Melissa Downey testified that God saved her at the age of thirteen during a Midwest camp meeting, and a burden was lifted. Caleb Copko testified that as his eighteenth birthday approached, he was not ready for Heaven and fear gripped his heart that the Lord would return and leave him behind, so he prayed with his parents and the Lord saved him and took away his fear. Alicia Parker said that she received salvation during camp meeting, and though she was only five, it was very real.

First Special: Caleb and Heidi Copko sang “Resurrection Power.”

Last Special: Peter Moberg sang “I Am Amazed.”

Sermon: Jeff Downey (pictured above), pastor in Van Buren, Arkansas, took his text from 2 Chronicles 20:15, and brought out six areas of people’s lives where God can bring deliverance, including from sin, temptation, illness, trials, discouragement, and fear.
