Airplane Service
Rev. Raymond Crawford was a pioneer of aerial evangelism. In his small
plane, “The Sky Pilot,” he took the message of the Gospel to
remote areas that could not be reached by other methods.

 

Azusa Building
The building at Azusa Street in Los Angeles where the Holy
Spirit was poured out in the revival of 1906.

 

Baptismal in 1920
Water baptismal services in the early years were held in the
Columbia River. This was the year 1920.

 

Beginners Sunday School
Sunday school has long been an important part of this organization's
outreach. This shot of the Beginners Department,
ages 2 - 5, was taken in 1954.

Church on Front
In the fall of 1908, the Apostolic Faith secured the large building at the
corner of Front and Burnside Streets for their headquarters.
Meetings were conducted at this location until 1922.

Early Street Meeting
Open Air meetings were an important evangelistic feature of the
Apostolic Faith Church in its early days. The first street
meeting was held by the founder in 1907.
