The Downeys have continued visiting our churches in St. Vincent, and traveled to Lowmans Hill, a short distance from Kingstown, for the Friday evening service on January 25. Established ninety years ago in 1928, this is the oldest church on the island, and is pastored by Martin Laborde.

Dallas, Texas, Christmas Program

The Apostolic Faith church group in Dallas, Texas, held their first Christmas program on December 23. The event opened with Telemi Ojo on the violin, and Johnson Ojo on the cello, playing “Silent Night.” Tayo Adesina gave the opening prayer, and then Wole Ogunyemi gave the introduction to the program.

India VBS Reaches Over 800 Children

Our churches in India continued holding Vacation Bible School (VBS) at the various locations this past week. On Thursday, January 10, forty-seven children gathered in the home of one of the saints in Gaigolupadu. This is a newer area of outreach supervised by Daniel Rayudu, the Pedapudi pastor. On Sunday, January 13, the Apostolic Faith congregation on the island of St. Eustatius celebrated twenty-five years of worship at the church in Mansionweg.

The Kaikavolu headquarters church in India hosted a ministers’ meeting on Wednesday, January 9, to which all the pastors and their spouses were invited. The meeting began with a prayer led by Raju Rayudu, the Kaikavolu pastor and Andhra Pradesh District Superintendent. “All Aboard” for VBS in India

Our India churches began Vacation Bible School (VBS) this past Friday, January 4, at the Durganagar church where Daniel Rayudu is the pastor. To highlight this year’s theme of “All Aboard for the Happy Day Express,” the staff wore red bandanas and engineer caps.
