Testimonies Abound at India Camp Meeting

Our churches in the southeastern region of India held their annual camp meeting February 24-26 at the headquarters campground in Kaikavolu. We were thrilled to hear that during the three-night campaign thirty-two were saved, twenty-six were sanctified, and sixteen received the baptism of the Holy Ghost! Maharashtra Superintendent Ordained and 26 Baptized at India Pastor Conference

Our churches in the Maharashtra Province of India held a three-day pastor and spouse conference in Aurangabad this past week. It was led by Surya Gajbhiv, the Maharashtra District Superintendent. Two from the United States, Clark Wolfe of Portland, Oregon, and Johnny Wyatt Jr. of Brooklyn, New York, attended and gave a report.

Our churches in India continued holding Vacation Bible School (VBS) at the various locations this past week. On Thursday, January 10, forty-seven children gathered in the home of one of the saints in Gaigolupadu. This is a newer area of outreach supervised by Daniel Rayudu, the Pedapudi pastor. The Kaikavolu headquarters church in India hosted a ministers’ meeting on Wednesday, January 9, to which all the pastors and their spouses were invited. The meeting began with a prayer led by Raju Rayudu, the Kaikavolu pastor and Andhra Pradesh District Superintendent. He then read Psalm 133 and 134, which begins, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

“All Aboard” for VBS in India

Our India churches began Vacation Bible School (VBS) this past Friday, January 4, at the Durganagar church where Daniel Rayudu is the pastor. To highlight this year’s theme of “All Aboard for the Happy Day Express,” the staff wore red bandanas and engineer caps.
