Two from Portland Visit a School in India

Clark Wolfe and Hunter Cripps of our Portland congregation are visiting India for two weeks, and hope to attend several services among our churches in Maharashtra State while there.

India Camp Meeting 2018

The eleventh annual India camp meeting was held Tuesday through Thursday, February 20-22, at the headquarters church in Kaikavolu. In preparation for the meetings, the saints fasted and prayed, and also went door-to-door in the village to personally invite people to attend. Our India churches held their first Vacation Bible School (VBS) of this year on Friday, January 19. Deanna Moen and Jane Burton, who are in India visiting the saints, reported that 130 children attended. The India headquarters church in Kaikavolu hosted a ministers’ meeting on Monday with all of the pastors and their wives attending. The main topic for the ministers was prayer. The Portland family visiting in India was invited by the principal of a Hindu school to visit and tell the students about America. The school, which provides education for boys in the first through tenth grades, was located inside a compound where all of the students live.
