The India headquarters church in Kaikavolu hosted a ministers’ meeting on Monday with all of the pastors and their wives attending. The main topic for the ministers was prayer. The family visiting India from Portland attended several more services among our congregations in India this past weekend.

Students in India Ask, “Who is Your God?”

The Portland family visiting in India was invited by the principal of a Hindu school to visit and tell the students about America. The school, which provides education for boys in the first through tenth grades, was located inside a compound where all of the students live.

The congregation in Uppongala, India, dedicated a new meeting place on Friday. Previously they were meeting in the backyard of one of the saints, but were forced to leave due to opposition from neighboring Hindus. They have now relocated to a rented parcel of land on which they constructed a concrete church with a temporary wooden roof.

Clark Wolfe and Benjamin Clapa are in India. They arrived in the village of Indrapalem on Saturday and received a warm welcome at the airport from Rayudu Raju, pastor of the India headquarters church in Kaikavolu, his wife, Suvarna, and his parents. They were then invited to Brother Raju’s home for a chicken dinner prepared by Sister Suvarna. Brother Clark said it was a great reunion over a delicious meal.
