India VBS Reaches Over 800 Children

The Kaikavolu headquarters church in India hosted a ministers’ meeting on Wednesday, January 9, to which all the pastors and their spouses were invited. The meeting began with a prayer led by Raju Rayudu, the Kaikavolu pastor and Andhra Pradesh District Superintendent. He then read Psalm 133 and 134, which begins, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

“All Aboard” for VBS in India

Our India churches began Vacation Bible School (VBS) this past Friday, January 4, at the Durganagar church where Daniel Rayudu is the pastor. To highlight this year’s theme of “All Aboard for the Happy Day Express,” the staff wore red bandanas and engineer caps.

Our churches in the Andhra Pradesh region of India welcomed the New Year by holding a watchnight service at the headquarters location in Kaikavolu. Clark Wolfe and Hunter Cripps of our Portland congregation are visiting India for two weeks, and hope to attend several services among our churches in Maharashtra State while there.

The eleventh annual India camp meeting was held Tuesday through Thursday, February 20-22, at the headquarters church in Kaikavolu. In preparation for the meetings, the saints fasted and prayed, and also went door-to-door in the village to personally invite people to attend. The India headquarters church in Kaikavolu hosted a ministers’ meeting on Monday with all of the pastors and their wives attending. The main topic for the ministers was prayer.
