The Portland family visiting in India was invited by the principal of a Hindu school to visit and tell the students about America. The school, which provides education for boys in the first through tenth grades, was located inside a compound where all of the students live.

Prayer meetings were held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from Monday, October 9, through Saturday, October 14. Various prayer requests were taken before the Lord, trusting that He would meet each need. The Spirit of God encouraged those who participated, and they drew strength from these times of collective prayer.
