Late Sunday night, Bayo Adeniran and I, along with James Olaleye of our WECA headquarters office, arrived in Benin where we have sixty-two churches, mostly concentrated in the south, although the work is quickly moving into the north.

A Blessed Lord’s Day in Ghana

We started this day with Sunday school at the Ghana headquarters church in Accra. Then we went into the morning service where 1761 were in attendance. It began with a children’s program. They sang some favorite songs including “The Happy Day Express,” “Happy Welcome,” “When He Cometh,” I’ll Be a Sunbeam,” and “Jesus Bids Us Shine.” The children also had speaking parts, and as usual they were adorable.

A Growing Work in Ghana

Bayo Adeniran and I flew to Ghana on Thursday. We were greeted at the airport by a small group, which included Akwasi Badu-Debrah, the District Superintendent of Ghana, and Jane Akazue who is the widow of Brother Bayo’s predecessor, and now assists with the Ghana work.

Melbourne Special Meetings: A Time of Refreshing

A weekend of revival services began Friday in Melbourne, Australia, with a concert. Brother Sam Ajayi said the choir and orchestra did a masterful job as they presented an abridged version of the concert performed at the Sydney camp meeting. One of the songs spoke of looking to God who is bigger than anything and everything one might face in life. He said this set the tone for the rest of the meetings.

India Saints Persist Despite Opposition

The congregation in Uppongala, India, dedicated a new meeting place on Friday. Previously they were meeting in the backyard of one of the saints, but were forced to leave due to opposition from neighboring Hindus. They have now relocated to a rented parcel of land on which they constructed a concrete church with a temporary wooden roof.

Several Pray Through at Sydney Camp Meeting

The Sydney, Australia, camp meeting concluded this past Sunday, and Brother Sam Ajayi sent a report of the final services.

Clark Wolfe and Benjamin Clapa are in India. They arrived in the village of Indrapalem on Saturday and received a warm welcome at the airport from Rayudu Raju, pastor of the India headquarters church in Kaikavolu, his wife, Suvarna, and his parents. They were then invited to Brother Raju’s home for a chicken dinner prepared by Sister Suvarna. Brother Clark said it was a great reunion over a delicious meal.
