They will be able to explain that the fulfillment of the many prophecies concerning His birth, life, death, and resurrection, prove the validity of the prophets’ statements concerning events yet to transpire.

The students will be able to relate a number of events which show that from the time God chose Abram and promised to make of him a great nation, through to Israel’s position in the world today, the events in their history are a significant prophetic fulfillment.

The students will be able to explain that the events of our day are positive indicators that the return of Christ is imminent.

The students will have the ability to tell that at the Great Tribulation, the wrath of God will be poured out upon the ungodly because of their rejection of Him. This will be a time of fear, darkness, and torment when great plagues will be sent upon the earth.

The students will be able to relate that at the Revelation of Christ, Jesus returns to earth with His saints following the Marriage Supper. At this time the armies of the Antichrist gather to fight against Christ and His saints at the Battle of Armageddon and are defeated.

The students will be able to tell that the Millennial Reign will take place immediately after the Tribulation, how long it will last, and what life will be like for the saints during this time.

The students will rehearse the events of the Great White Throne Judgment in the close of the Millennium, when God will finally judge all whose names are not in the Book of Life, according to their works.

The students will be able to explain that it was Christ’s office as the sacrificial Lamb of Calvary that makes Him worthy to take the Book and unloose the seals.

The students will be able to explain that this sin-polluted earth will pass away after the White Throne Judgment, and God will create new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness shall dwell.

The students will be able to explain that if they wholly follow Jesus, placing Him first in their lives, He will enlighten them as to how their relationship with those around them can be in conformity with His teachings.

The students will be able to explain that as the ministry submits to God and bears the responsibility of the Body of Christ, just so we must submit to those who “watch for our souls” to be entitled to God’s favor and blessing.

The students will be able to explain that Christ’s purpose for His followers is that they witness to the unsaved and endeavor to win them for the Lord.

The students will be able to explain that their neighbors are those with whom they come into contact, regardless of nationality or social status. One of God’s commandments is that His followers should love their neighbor as they do themselves.

The students will be able to explain that one of the responsibilities of a follower of Christ is to have compassion and a caring concern for those who are spiritually weak.

The students will be able to explain that with God’s help they can have a defense against Satan, and by resisting his attempts to overthrow them, they will obtain the victory.

The students will be able to explain that the spirit of non-retaliation to their enemies is commanded by God and is a true mark of a Christian.

The students will discern and be able to relate that God intended marriage to be a unique covenantal commitment of a man and woman which excludes all others from its intimacy, and that God expressly forbids the breaking of this union except by death.

The students will be able to list certain parental duties established by God’s Word, including the responsibility to love, teach, train, provide for, nurture, and control their children. The Scripture also teaches that children should obey and honor their parents. By adhering to these guidelines, both parents and children will reap God’s reward.

The students will be able to explain that the Bible was directed and inspired by God himself, and is the infallible Word of God bearing the unique stamp of its Author.

The students will be able to explain that the church is God’s House, and that because it is holy and the place where we come to offer Him worship, we should respect His House.

The students will be able to explain the importance of honoring the Lord’s name. This would include refraining from colloquial or slang derivatives, oaths and blasphemy, and careless or irreverent usage of His name.

The students will be able to explain that a vow is a voluntary promise to God to perform some service or do something pleasing to Him. Vows are not regarded as a religious necessity. But once they have been made, they must be considered sacred and binding, so they must not be made rashly.

The students will be able to explain that the Lord’s Supper is the means by which believers commemorate the death of Christ. They will learn the scriptural requirement for participation and be able to relate that Christ’s washing of His disciples’ feet was an example to us.

The students will be able to explain that the miracle of Christ’s Resurrection is the heart of the Christian faith. It establishes the risen Christ as the source of redemption and transforms the tragedy of the Cross into the source of life and hope for all mankind.

The students will be able to relate that God made man in His image and likeness, and has designed that man should be the temple of God.

They will recognize that the ministry is charged in God’s Word to establish guidelines or policies for the church that are in harmony with Bible doctrines. The students will see that a high standard of Christian living with unhindered fellowship is the primary purpose for such guidelines.

The students will be able to explain that the Lord’s Day is a day consecrated to Him. When we honor His day by setting it apart from other days of the week, we can expect God’s blessing.

The students will be able to explain that there is nothing so essential to the growth of Christian experience as consecration. There is nothing that will as surely bring the power for service into one’s life as keeping that life constantly on the altar and at the bidding of God’s will.

The students will be able to explain that it is the responsibility of the parents to teach their children the truths of God’s Word. And as the family participates in studying and praying together, they will have the blessing of God.

The students will be able to explain that the power of God attests to the reality of a supernatural force. God is (1) present everywhere, (2) all-powerful, and (3) knows all things.

The students will be able to explain the importance of using the abilities God has given them knowing that the call He has placed upon their lives will be commensurate with the talents they possess. When these talents are offered to God, they will be blessed by Him.

The students will be capable of telling the spiritual value, as well as the everyday worth of Jesus’ teachings pertaining to humility, contrition, and meekness.

The students will be able to explain that mercy is essential to Christian living, that unless we extend mercy we will not receive it.

The students will be capable of telling that the Lord has power over the universe as well as over men. He can bring peace to elements as well as to the hearts of individuals.

The students will be able to explain that God has different ways of communicating with us so that we might know His will. Our responsibility is to be attentive to His Spirit for direction—no matter what way He might choose to reveal His plan for us.

The students will be able to relate that, as believers, they have the promise of divine protection at all times. What God allows for the believer is always for his good.
