The Youth Music Scholarship Awards will be presented during camp meeting.
You are invited to nominate talented musicians who are actively participating in your youth music and are involved in improving their ability to reach higher levels for God's service. The nominees must be saved, be good Christian examples, be fifteen to eighteen years of age, and be members of one of our churches in the US.
Please email the Scholarship Nomination Form to the church office by Sunday, June 22.
Every year, there are underage young people who wish to stay on the campground during camp meeting even though their parents are not attending. In order to ensure the safety of these young people, and for the protection of their guardians, please refer to our safety procedure guidelines for guardians.
If the child is twelve years or older, regularly attends the Apostolic Faith Church, and has the permission of his/her parents and pastor to stay on the campground under the supervision of an approved guardian, he may be permitted to do so.
Guardians must be over the age of twenty-one, regularly attend the Apostolic Faith Church, and be residing on the campground during the time the young person will be there. They should fully understand the responsibilities of guardianship, be committed to following the guidelines established by the Apostolic Faith organization, and be approved by their pastor.
Once you have read the procedure guidelines for guardianship, download and fill out the Guardian Application form. You may fax or email the completed form to 503-777-1743 or CampOffice@apostolicfaith.org.
The camp office is in the building east of the headquarters office, near the 56th Street entrance to the campground. The camp office is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but closes for services and on Monday and Saturday afternoons.
Come to the office immediately upon arrival to check in, receive your cabin assignment, and get your cabin keys. This is also where you can drop off out-going mail. The camp office has a lost and found for valuables, so you may want to check here for missing personal belongings. For less expensive items, see the supply cabin. Come here to ask for assistance regarding any special needs you may have.
Please contact Chet King by emailing chetking@gmail.com or calling him at (503) 410-6031 to ask about reserving an RV space. You will also need to submit a camp registration form. Upon arrival, go to the camp office for instructions about parking your RV.
When you arrive, check in at the camp office to get your cabin assignment and keys. Stop by the supply cabin to pick up bed linens. (If you live locally, please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and mattress protectors for small children.) You will want to bring battery-operated lamps or propane lighting. These are also available in the supply cabin, but you will need to leave a $15 deposit for the lamp and pay $5 for the propane canister. If you are arriving at nighttime, consider bringing a flashlight to help you find your cabin and get settled. Laundry facilities are provided. The washers and dryers take quarters and there is a change machine nearby. Detergent is also available for purchase at the supply cabin.
