04-21-2024 – Sunday Evening Service

Prelude: Luke Copko, on cello, played “Be Still” and “Much Too High a Price.” The octet followed, singing “I Bless Your Name” with soloists Deborah Brenner and Chris Luka.

Featured Testimonies: Jodie Hinkle was thankful God has been with her in many decisions she has had to make regarding preparation the sale of her parents’ house. Orrin Lee appreciated that the Lord answered prayer at the youth retreat and lifted the burden he has had for quite a while. Susan Asaya was so thankful that Jesus gave her peace and answered her prayer regarding a fear she has had.

First Special: The choir sang “Unspeakable Joy Medley,” with soloist Diana Baros.

Last Special: Randy Baltzell sang “I Thirst.”

Sermon: Gary Riler read Matthew 11:1-5, advising not to “Google” one’s problems but to take everything to Jesus and to remember to point others to Jesus, too.
