On Monday, April 22, a special presentation on mission work was given at the 2024 Zambia Camp Meeting. Various speakers shared about outreach efforts in districts across the country, reporting that in the past year over ten worship centers were opened in multiple districts. In the northern district of Kasama, broadcasting on a weekly radio program has helped the church to grow and new people attend services each Sunday. God has also been helping workers from two branches to reach people in prisons.

The Kaputa district is even further north, over 650 miles from our headquarters in Lusaka, and shares a boarder with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There, a branch that had been closed for several years in Kabwe Village reopened. During the recent Easter holiday, revival services were held and the Lord worked mightily: twenty-three were saved, three were sanctified, two were baptized with the Holy Ghost, four were delivered from demons, eight were healed, and twenty-one were water baptized.

During special youth meetings held in the Kaputa district in September of 2022, fifteen received salvation on the opening day of the meetings. This happened after brethren went to a local government office to rent a tarp in preparation for the meetings. A woman who worked there felt compelled to attend the services; she came and was saved at the opening Sunday devotional service. Later that day, she returned for another service, bringing her daughter who was possessed by demons. The Lord instantly delivered her daughter and tears of joy flowed as the two embraced. The daughter testified that for the first time, she felt joy unspeakable in her heart. This prompted others to pray and receive deliverance from sin.

Those who attended the presentation were encouraged and inspired to hear how the Gospel is progressing in Zambia. At the conclusion, the congregation sang “Far and Near the Fields” and an altar call was given for all who wanted to rededicate their lives for God’s service.
